It will be interesting to see how teams adapt for Sprint qualifying and the Sprint race at this track. Will there be any surprises this year in South Florida as rubber hits the track? Predictions
Finally, on to the predictions. First, for Sprint qualifying I have the top 3 positions as follows, Sergio Perez third, Charles Leclerc second and Max Verstappen first. Then, for the Sprint race I have Perez overtaking Leclerc for second putting the Red Bulls at 1-2 with Verstappen leading the way and Leclerc’s Ferrari in third. When the drivers shift their focus to the main part of the weekend, I expect a slight difference in the results. In main qualifying, I have have Lando Norris claiming the third spot on the grid, the Mexican Red Bull driver in Second and the Dutch Red Bull teammate in first. Lastly, the three podium spots at the checkered flag on race day will be Carlos Sainz reaching third and the top two staying the same with Perez at second place and Verstappen as the race winner.
That wraps it up for the 2024 F1 Miami Grand Prix preview. Will you be tuning in for all five sessions? Do you agree with my predictions? What do you think will happen this weekend? Either way, let’s enjoy a weekend filled with F1 racing in Miami!
